Introduce

As data increasingly becomes the foundation for management and decision-making, regression analysis is a core tool for exploring relationships between variables, predicting trends, and testing hypotheses. Mastering regression means possessing one of the most important competencies for optimizing processes and improving efficiency in research and business.

At LSSI, the “Regression Analysis” course is comprehensively designed, covering from basic concepts (simple and multivariate linear regression, data transformation, outlier detection) to advanced topics (multicollinearity, logistic regression, weighted least squares). In parallel, students are also guided to practice on Minitab and R, helping to consolidate theoretical knowledge with practical application skills. After the course, you will confidently build, evaluate and deploy regression models, expand your data analysis capabilities and create a superior advantage at work.

Training objectives

• Understand and apply fluently single and multivariate linear regression and logistic regression models.
• Practice analysis, hypothesis testing and model evaluation (ANOVA, F-test, Lack of Fit test).
• Apply advanced techniques such as data transformation, outlier detection, multicollinearity and Weighted Least Squares.
• Use Minitab and R to build, visualize, and interpret regression models in real-world situations.
• Enhance analytical thinking and data modeling skills, creating a competitive advantage in work and research.

Prerequisites

Correlation and Regression program participants do not require any prerequisites and the program welcomes all new members.
